I recently had an experience that brought home the fact that when you use your intentions to manifest your reality, you had better be specific… because the vibration you send out is going to be reflected back to you very precisely. However, the good news is that no matter which way that goes, when you manifest your true desires there’s always a lesson attached.
For almost a year, I’ve had a physical condition that flared up daily – it was causing a lot of disabling pain for hours a day, and had an adverse effect on my ability to function. For all intents and purposes, it was mostly my own fault; I knew that my diet and other habits had lead to this condition. I also knew from having my own Soul Realignment and clearing done some time ago that my main life lesson in this reincernation was around the idea of strength, and specifically now in the area of physical health. But, I am a man and the “man syndrome” ruled me in that I sloughed it off, did not go to the doctor, and did as I pleased – I took my health for granted. We are all supermen when we feel good. I went on for years sending out the frequency that said I didn’t care about my health.
Well, as I have come to understand, when we refuse to take the hint and learn our lessons the easy way, sometimes the Universe takes over and makes the lesson extremely easy to understand. Hence my pain. Wonderful motivator, that. Note that it didn’t kill me (which it easily could have)…it just got me to move in a certain direction.
Long story short…I had finallybeen taking steps to correct the condition, but still the awful pain persisted. It had shown some minuscule, tentative signs of receding, but this past Monday night it was in full agonizing force and kept me from sleeping. I happen to be in the midst of a course of study to increase my intuitive skills, and part of that is to direct ones intentions very specifically toward what one wants to happen. The vehicle to accomplish this is through intentional prayer (and no, it’s not the supplicating, prostrating type of prayer taught by modern religion – but that’s for another post).
So as I lay in bed this past Monday night not sleeping, still in pain, I did my exercise by intending that I get a really good idea for a blog post the next day. And, as an afterthought, I added that I wanted the pain to just go away because I was sick of it and didn’t deserve it and it was getting in my way.
The next day, it still hurt, and I really didn’t feel like writing anything in my blog, let alone anything clever. Oh well.
However, by that night I realized that, by God, I really didn’t hurt any more! I had finally humbled myself by taking the correct action; then I had asked for the miracle to happen, and it did! No matter how many times these things occur, I continue to be in wonderment. It’s just amazing the way we create our own reality once we become attuned and in alignment with how things really work.
Furthermore: as you may recall, I had also asked for inspiration for a good blog post. Well, this one might not set the blogosphere on fire, but it seems like I did indeed get a two-for-one out of the deal. 🙂
Hi Anna! I’m honored that you stopped by! I hope everyone who sees this will take a moment and check out your most excellent website as well!
Well…I’m still not completely over the Superman syndrome yet…but I have been realizing that I’m as old as dirt and almost as smart ;), and need to take care of the body better so I can stick around a while and get a few things done while I can.
Take care…try to hit the FB thing when you have time, it seems to be a lot of fun.
Michael
Hi Michael,
Congratulations on your new site! It looks great.
I liked this quote: ‘we are all superman when we feel good’ – It’s so easy to take good health for granted when you have it isn’t it. Hope you are feeling better now!
